A breathtaking architectural wonder, Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, gives guests a window into UAE government and rich legacy. Designed finished in 2017 and first opened to the public in 2019, it functions as a cultural monument as well as a working palace. The Great Hall at the palace boasts a chandelier composed of 350,000 crystal pieces and a 37-meter dome. Visitors can see the Spirit of Collaboration hall, used for formal meetings, and the House of Knowledge, home of more than 50,000 volumes and important relics. Held nightly, the Palace in Motion light display tells the UAE’s story using striking images.
